Healthy Snicker Bars

Serves 4-6


1 pack of medjool dates

1 tub of crunchy or smooth peanut butter

150g dark chocolate

Toppings: Desiccated Coconut, Salt or Pistachios

1. Remove the stones in the dates by cutting them in half but not all the way through. 

2. Spoon a tbsp of peanut butter into the middle of the dates and then press them to close them up. 

3. Break up all your chocolate and melt it in a heatproof bowl over boiling water to prevent it from burning. Once all of it has melted,  spoon the chocolate over each date using a tablespoon. 

4. Top the date with a topping of your choice. 

5. Place in the fridge for up to 3 hours to set and then they are ready to eat. 

These are best kept in the fridge for up to 5 days but can be frozen for up to 3 months.
